X-Rays

There are two types of X-Rays used by your orthodontist in their diagnosis: Panoramic X-Rays and Cephalometric X-Rays.

A Panoramic X-Ray is a 2D image that captures your entire mouth whereas a Cephalometric X-Ray is a 2D image that shows a side view of your head, exposing teeth, jaw, and surrounding structures.

Both types of x-ray will be taken at the beginning of your treatment in order for your orthodontist to correctly determine the appropriate treatment plan for you.

Walk-in X-Rays are available here at the Orthodontic Centre Limited with no appointment necessary. If you would like to know more or have any questions, feel free to contact us.
